Welcome to our "Reflections" collection of one of a kind and low production mirrors.  Mirrors featured here contain more then 80 square inches (8"x10" photo size) of glass.  Most are one of a kind, achieved by creating individual pieces crafted to show off the unique characteristics of special pieces of wood.  Although we will occasionally create matched pairs of these on speculation, custom orders can be placed for matched sets.  Matched sets could be as simple as a pair of small mirrors for a bathroom, or a number of matched pieces of various sizes to tie together a room, such as a mantel mirror and matched 5x7 photo frames.   Be sure to check back often as new pieces will be added on a regular basis!

The following photos are of a truly unique matched pair of American Black Walnut jewelery mirrors.  The wood for this frame was recovered from a black walnut tree that had been submerged in a swamp for hundreds of years.  We selected the lumber we wanted from it, turned out our own special moulding, and assembled something you won't find anywhere else.  These mirrors incorporate a small, narrow shelf on the bottom, under the glass for earings or a watch, cufflinks etc..  On the top, outside corners you'll see that there are a pair of hand turned, solid brass necklace pegs.  These pegs are hand turned by the Brusso Company in New York.  Yup, hand made in the USA, just like the frame!  This matched pair can be sent anywhere in the world, so please email for a shipping quote.  Priced as a matched pair for $495
