shape. We keep dozens of species of wood in the shop
at all times. If we don't have it on hand, we know where to get it.

This is one of a matched set of truly remarkable mirrors. The wood is U.S. black walnut
recovered from submersion in a centuries-old swamp in Ohio. Very little lumber was cut from the trunk of this ancient
tree. 15 years ago It was recovered, roughly cut, and air dried for 15 years in a controlled environment.
We had the connections to obtain enough of this rare specimen to create a pair of frames to house 1/4 inch mirrored glass.
The necklace pegs shown are hand turned of brass in New York by "Brusso" company. All our hardware, even the
saw-tooth hangers on the rear, are made in the USA whenever possible to obtain. A finish of tung oil protects.
