We
welcome custom projects such as this display case built for an autographed football. Apologies for the loading delay
on this super-high resolution photo set. A remedie is in the works! It is made from solid Honduran Mahogany, grain
matched all the way around with a glass plate in the front, backed in mirror. The top of the case bolts to the bottom
with four recessed allen bolts in the base of the case. Photos of other projects are soon to arrive! Check back
often!

shows the rear of case, a protectiveblack foam core covers the rear of the mirror glass to prevent the coating from being
scratched.
This view is of the front of the case, looking through the glass and seeing
the mirror in the rear, to show off the rear of the autographed football, and present a bit light from reflection into the
case. The case is designed for a mantel. Similar cases can be produced for display of almost anything, with many
custom features available. Pricing begins at $300. Almost any variety of wood can be used. Please contact us to go over your specifications and obtain
a quote. Turn-around depends on availability of wood species chosen and how many other projects we have underway in
the shop. It is best to figure on a lead time of about 2 months.
This is an end-view of the
same case described above. This case is finished simply with tung oil using our 72 hour, 3 step, proprietary process
that is applied from start to finish by the same person for consistency. Tung oil not only protects the wood, but brings
out its natural sheen and grain. It provides a look and feel that hard to beat. It is easy to dust and also hides
finger prints well. The glass is archival in this, and all of our art/collection protection projects.
